Right on the first anniversary of the LIKE button Facebook have announced the release of the SEND button. This will allow the sharing of content with particular people rather than a broadcast sharing that happens when you click LIKE. The LIKE button sharing is seen as a post in the newsfeed of all your friends whereas clicking the SEND button allows you to share with specific people via a Facebook message, email or posting on a group wall.
